all right,so one of you office guys set me straight.

your in a climate controled environment.your dressed nicely.you have access to a clean bathroom all day(im assuming).your in the company of presumably educated people.there are pretty ladies to flirt with.you have access to a telephone and computer,so you can pay bills,do some banking, make arrandements for whatever.im assuming theres someplace reasonably comfortable to eat.im assuming water, coffe, etc. is available.

what am i missing.for 16 years the incidence of violent crime in nyc has been diminishing, why is there now so much office violence.or has there always been and im now just noticing it.im sure im missing something, can one of you can bring me up to speed?

The economy has been on a downward spiral for years and people's incomes have gone down while the price of everything has gone up, the rich have gotten richer and have rubbed it in all our faces and then, jobs are scarce with millions of jobs lost to globalization and NAFTA.

Americans work more hours than any other country in the world and have the least vacation days of any industrialized country in the world, so we're stressed the fuck out, on the verge of going broke all the time and living in a culture that tells you you ain't shit unless you've got the latest car, the latest gadgets, eat in the most exclusive restaurants and bars, live in the finest house or apartment in the trendiest neighborhood etc.

Then you get fired with no real severance check and where jobs are scarce, after they've been fucking with you for months or years.

That's why people are fucking losing it. Uncertainty about the future combines with too much stress...

thanks morhp,

but thats a pretty sweeping statement,we are all affected by these factors, blue collar as well.

and this isnt the first recession(its not even the 1st of this young century)

i was thinking that there was something more unique to this SPECIFIC environment.ive never had to work in an office, but i would figure, personally i would develop a form of "cabin fever".

any one else?

This video IS NOT from America. lol. I saw another angle that one of the person in the video had recorded on their cellphone video camera, and they were speaking some Eastern European language. :smile1:

Not sure what the whole story is here. Being fired would make sense. I figured the guy was just bi-polar and forgot to take his meds. lol.
