growing i can remember my mom buying these 2 cereals #1 KABOOM , where the you started eating the star marshmellows and by the time u done your milk is purple/ brownish, #2 KING VITAMIN ( bootleg), LOL my favorite is 1. captain crunch WITH berries =)

But for the past year now, I bee loving me some Frosted Flakes...

I've been around for a bit longer than some of you. When I was a kid, Kaboom didn't exist.

My favorite cereal was something that they stopped making a looong time ago. It was called Dinky Donuts.

Yeah, I know. Name sounds goofy to me, too but it was loops/rings larger than the ones in fruit loops and they tasted like English toffee, butterscotch and caramel all rolled into one.

Actually, upon further consideration, they tased almost exactly like Krispy Kreme donuts. Hundreds and hundreds of little Krispy Kreme donuts, that danced on your tongue, packed with super sweet donuty goodness that just dissolved on the tongue like cotton candy, if cotton candy was made from English toffee, butterscotch and caramel. Mmm....

At least my childhood memory hallucinates they did.. lol..

I must sound like Tyrone Biggums:

Shit was delicious.

Other than that I loved vanilla or blueberry Cookie Crisp (I can't remember whether they made it in blueberry, but I think they did and I loved it).

But my all time favorite was Cap'n Crunch with Crunch Berries.

The sheer potency of the power packed dosage of pure adrenalin-enfused, ADD-inducing sugar that 2 bowls of that shit would deliver to a young child's brain was enough to allow him to begin pondering the boundaries of space time and perceiving the great formless super consciousness of eternity.

My mom would buy a box of that shit and a gallon of milk, and leave me watching tv. Half an hour later she's come back and I would be floating above my bed, in a lotus position, lips stained red by the crunch berries, chanting, "It is by will alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the juice of sapho that thoughts acquire speed, the lips acquire stains, the stains become a warning. It is by will alone I set my mind in motion."

Then suddenly I would whip my head around at here and scream "I am the Kwisatz Haderach!!!" , and it would begin raining, just in my room.

Frosted Flakes was my growing up cereal. Tasted other stuff, but now I pretty much dig my Honey nut Cheerios. Stuff tastes good dry or with milk!

growing up i was a no frills bootleg frosted flakes junkie. if u from jersey they was the ones that came in a bag with the polar bear on the front. as my mom stepped her financial game up , i became addicted to apple jacks. still am kinda, i have wet dreams about that milk turning pink. but now its all about the CTC (cinnamon toast crunch). i have and will fight people over that shit, don't touch my cereal.

oh and i will always have a place in my heart for a good bowl of korn flakes with a half a pound of sugar in it. u know when u start scrapin that shit from the bottom of the bowl. mmmm - mmmmmmm!

Cap'n Crunch with crunchberries have always ben my shit.

For a while there, Lucky Charms was in the house. Then it was Cracklin' Oat Bran (I swear this shit tastes like granola bars and not some healthy shit).
Fruity Pebbles made a brief appearance at the breakfast table, but the speed at which it got soggy and the incredible amounts of sugar is loaded into my prepubescent system insured I would never get that shit again. lol
