lol! You guys probably don't realize the deal with Herpes in porn. Many, many porn stars have Herpes, if not MOST. There are some that are public about it such as Chloe, Rocco Siffredi, Belladonna, but there are many, many pornstars that have it, know they have it and still do scenes - usually with condoms.
Chloe (from an interview):
"I have herpes," said Chloe as she drove me to a smoker-friendly bar. "After you've been in this business for a while, you have herpes. Everyone has herpes. On the set sometimes you'll say to a guy, 'What's this?' And he'll say, 'What? That? It's a fuck sore.' And it may well be a fuck sore, what with all the traffic. But it's more likely to be a herpes sore, and that guy shouldn't be working. My movies are all-condom, but condoms won't protect you from herpes. They don't cover the base. Sometimes when you're doing girl-girl you'll say, 'Honey, I think you should go and see someone.' It can be a very stinky scene down there. I'll send her to a porno-friendly doctor (the others treat you like shit) and she'll come out holding her Flagyll prescription with multiple refills."
Rocco has actually been quoted as saying:
"Let me tell you a secret: in this business everybody has herpes, myself included. Every professional in the porn-world has herpes, male or female. It's the smallest thing you can get, it's really nothing serious."
Herpes is the #1 STD today and it's almost as common as the cold.
Over 55 million adults in the US have genital herpes and an estimated 1.6 million new infections happen each year.
Some estimates suggest that by 2025 up to 40% of all men and half of all women could be infected.
One of my clients, a gynecologist (who actually has Herpes herself and is quite open about it with her patients, many of whom come in with first time Herpes outbreaks themselves) told me several year ago that MOST sexually active people in the U.S. now have genital Herpes, but don't know it.
She said that most of us have already had sex with someone who has Herpes, but were lucky enough not to contract it due to a strong immune system, the infected person not being virally active or because we are actually immune to it (there are people who are actually immune to HIV and Herpes, in case you didn't know).
She laid out the math for me as follows:
There are roughly 299 million American in the U.S., of which roughly 55 million have Herpes.
That boils down to 1 in 5 people, or 20% of the population.
Now, once you subtract children under the age of 13 (57 million) and elderly adults over age 65 (75 million) both of whom are who are generally not part of the pool of sexual active, available sex partners, you're left with 167 million adults, aged 14-64 who COULD be part of the active pool of sexual adults that can transmit Herpes.
So out of 167 million potential sex partners, if 55 million are infected, the ratio of Americans with Herpes you're likely to encounter is 1 out of every 3 people.
Now, from that 167 million subtract the older, monogamous married couples over 50 years old, the impotent, mentally retarded, incarcerated for life/long sentences, and other parts of the population that are not part of the pool of sexually active adults and you shave off roughly another 45 million people, bringing the number down to a more realistic 122 million, sexually active adults in the available pool of sex partners.
So out of 122 million sexually active adults in the available pool of sex partners, 55 million have Herpes. That's just about 1 in 2, or 50%.
So all of us, at any moment have a base 50% chance of having sex with someone who has Herpes. And remember, most people that have it don't even know they do or exhibit any symptoms.
If your sex partners are African American women, the chances of infection are basically doubled or tripled as MOST Black women can expect to contract Herpes in their lifetime.
Yeah, my Black female gynecologist client educated me thoroughly on this shit, so I wrap my shit up tight when I go out into the night seeking fleshly delights! ;-)

Man that is really some crazy shit! You really wonder about who you're meeting in the clubs, and what not. That's why I don't want to pull one night stands. You really don't know these days. Guys, BE CAREFUL!

There are far worst shit out there than herpes. Everyone knows that.
Shit virtually everyone has had Oral Herpes!
There is even herpes of the skin (shingles).
Hell there is even a chance of getting herpes on your dick by getting a blowjob from a girl that has oral herpes. Doctors say there is a small chance... but it is true.
And you don't think shit about it, because... BJ's with a condom!!!! That's just fuckin' dumb in my mind. However, it happens.
I know because it has happened to me...
It was about five years ago. I was seeing this real fine blondie. She gave the best head in the fuckin' world. And I mean that when she sucked a dick she fuckin' sucked it. Not putting it in and out but some real suckin'. Fuckin' porno dick suckin'.
But oh well shit happens.
It didn't hit at first. It was a slow onset. Then BOOM!!!! I had the flu like a motherfucker. Every adenoid (i.e. tonsils) were swollen like a mother fucker. My penis was burning and itching. I got sores all over my shit! It was straight out of those medical text books.
Well, I got it that first year (outbreak). It took a whole fuckin' month to get back to good. I got depressed and thought my life was over (NO MORE FUCKIN'!!!!!). However, I have not had another outbreak since then.
But don't be fooled. There is something called the "pro-drome stage". Everyone knows that you are always constantly shedding skin cells, right? Well the same thing with this pro-drome stage.
Herpes is a viral infection. Viruses usually lay dormant in nerve cells and nerve tissue (That is why they say that people with herpes can get outbreaks if they are stressed or nervous). During the pro-drome stage they come to the top of the skin. You can have no signs or symptoms, but you can pass it on to someone.
For me herpes isn't shit! Aids is the motherfucker to look out for not herpes! But then again I don't have to worry about herpes anymore. LOL.
Yeah, I've got to pass it on. I'm a giving christian and what better gift to give away than the "gift that keeps giving"!!
As for women: its easier for guys not to have a big problem with herpes, I mean, our shit is on the outside. However, girls have bad problem with herpes. They get sores on the outside, inside and fuckin' inbetween. My wife has herpes and she gets a outbreak everytime she has her period. But for a guy it ain't no thing.
I feel sorry for Belladonna but if she wants to fuck me without a condom then I'm fuckin' game!!! LOL
P.S. I went out on a limb sharing some knowledge. If you have question feel free to ask. You can come to me in confidence if you think you might be a victim of Herpes.
But don't fuckin' talk shit to me. You are just fuckin' ignorant if you do. You don't know what you are talking about! So to those people who want to talk shit --- FUCK YOU.

I got mad respect for your admittance cumperv. I never had herpes, but it's good to hear from a person that lives with it.
I problaby never got it because I don't trust women when it comes to sex. I don't kiss, I never go balls deep or ask for head unless they get tested. I do condom long strokes and leave unless they can show me proof of not having anything to burn me with. It may sound very reserved, but the way I do it it looks like a pimp putting his ho in check, so to speak.

Cumperv, thank you for your candor and openness. I applaud your strength and character.
It takes real conviction and valor to share something so personal for which there is such a social stigma attached based on ignorance and Puritanical prudishness.
Thank you for putting a human face on something which affects so many people silently, and for sharing the rarely seen side of the person living with it.
My gynecologist client told me genital Herpes (HSV2) is nothing more than a rash that comes and goes and is mostly gone, most of the time. She said it shares more than 50% of it's genes with the regular cold sore (HSV1) and the only real difference between cod sores and genital Herpes is that one you get above the waist, the other you get below. But it's essentially the same thing.
So it's odd that as a society, we don't freak out abut regular oral cold sores, simply because it's so prevalent and common, but we freak out about genital sores, even though they are essentially identical, except for location.
But I cant imagine what it's like to have it and live with it, so again, I'm honored and graced by your courage and your honesty.
Thank you, my brutha.

I appreciate how y'all feel.
Just know that it is not that bad. But I still wouldn't risk getting it. It sucks the first time and is somewhat tolerable when you get outbreaks.
Just know that condoms don't always help. If the chick has herpes and is on top, well, lets just say pussy juices can drip down on your nuts. Boom!!! Shingles on your balls!!!!
Its not the most terrifying STD out there.
The two positions that most people don't use a condom is oral sex and anal sex. Most people are worried about kids than STD's. Don't get me wrong Condomless sex is fuckin' awesome. It makes sex with a condom feel like a handshake.
But herpes is so common that you probably fucked a chick that had it and didn't realize it. Maybe you dodged a bullet... Maybe that condom that you bought for 50cents in damn bar bathroom had some help in it... Just know it is out there, it sucks, but not as much as dying!!!
But its okay to joke. It helps us get through those tough times. I don't know how many times I said: I hate that fucker so bad I just wanna slap my herpes infected dick right across his fuckin' eyes and give him herpes of the eyes!!!
Or what my chick says: Splash some herpes infected pussy juice right in the B#tches face!!!
Its okay to laugh, shit, I am!!!! LOL

Although I don't know anyone who is open with herpes, me Wife actually has Shingles. Before we got married we enrolled with the same Doctor, who explained what is was to me. Also if people did not know the chicken pox is also a form of herpes as well. So herpes is very common, and is one of the oldest documented viruses in history. Not so surprising it is very prevalent. But each version of herpes is different in how easily you can catch it. Luckily shingles is not very contagious.
