actually If you have a cable modem by a certain cable company which I wouldn't mention I know how too activate It free by using a simple code, that I got from my cousin that work for that company.

Naw not necessarily, you can use your static IP or If you don't want to do that then you can also change your IP, yeah I'm am talkin about a specific cable modem Comcast to be exact, when I go back home I'm gonna get my cable modem so I know longer will have too pay for verizon B/S.
